Librarians and faculty at Cape Breton University could soon be on strike if an agreement is not reached with university administration. In November, members of the Faculty Association at Cape Breton University
voted in favor of strike action. A strike could come as soon as
this week if the two parties are unable to agree on issues including salary and workload, though a union spokesman has indicated that he believes a resolution is likely.
