Toledo-Lucas County Public Library Wins John Sessions Memorial Award
This year's John Sessions Memorial Award was given to the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library's Local History & Genealogy Department "for its extensive efforts in building an ongoing legacy recognizing the labor community". This award is given by the Reference and User Services Association of ALA to "a library or library system which has made a significant effort to work with the labor community and by doing so has brought recognition to the history and contribution of the labor movement to the development of the United States".
