Library Service to Labor: ALA-RUSA Sessions Award to Princeton University’s Industrial Relations Library.

The American Library Association’s Reference & User Services Association presents the 2023 John Sessions Memorial Award to the Princeton University’s Industrial Relations Library. The award is sponsored by the Department for Professional Employees, AFL-CIO.  The Princeton University’s Industrial Relations Library is commended for their work digitizing and providing access to the over 30,000 items in their collection. Their online exhibit of pamphlets on employment discrimination is an excellent example of their work. The clearest example of their work with the labor community is their participation in the Future of the Labor Movement Conference, held on their campus in 2022. We applaud their work in bringing this rich heritage of the labor movement to a wider audience.” – Award Committee statement
