New Contract for University of Vermont Faculty

Librarians and other faculty at the University of Vermont have approved a new contract that includes annual salary increases. The contract expires June 30, 2017.

Alleged Union Violation in Vermont

The union representing workers at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Vermont claims that three employees have been shifted out of the union. The library contends that these employees were not shifted out of the union but were moved into new non-union, mid-level management positions. The union has filed a complaint with an arbitrator and Vermont's Labor Relations Board.

University of Vermont library workers vote for union

Support staff at the University of Vermont, including library workers, are currently voting on whether or not to join a union an which union to join.  Hopefully more details to follow.
