Walter P. Reuther Library of Labor and Urban Affairs has been awarded the 2008 John Sessions Memorial Award


Reuther believed that the labor movement was a social movement, that unions had the power to improve the lives of all working-class Americans, and the potential to change the world for the betterment of all.

Mike Smith have been awarded the 2008 John Sessions Memorial Award for No Greater Calling, the online resource that provides a treasure chest filled with a wealth of information on one of the most famous individuals in the history of the labor movement, Walter P. Reuther.
