Harvard Library to downsize?

Harvard University Library announced a decision to "involuntarily" downsize its staff, to the shock and concern of the Harvard Union of Clerical and Technical Workers (HUCTW).  The union describes the announcement as "extraordinarily clumsy" and plans to meet with library officials to get more details.  Some union members, however, are disappointed by the thus-far tepid response of the union and expect a more aggressive defense of their livelihoods.  Sounds like a good time for shop-floor organizing!
