According to the president of the Toronto Public Library Workers Union (TPLWU), Maureen O'Reilly, the union is expecting a lock-out. Their contract expired at the end of 2011 and Toronto city administration, headed by Mayor Rob Ford, is expected to attack public services and workers in the new year.
