Strike vote at Ottawa Public Library

There are just all sorts of labour struggles going on in Canadian libraries these days.  The latest news is that workers at Ottawa Public Library have voted to go on strike after being without a collective agreement since December of 2011.  Nothing has officially been announced yet, but it's worth keeping an eye on to see how this progresses and if this struggle will play out like recent events in Saskatchewan and British Columbia, wherein workers have minimized the impact on library users by instigating a slow-burning series of job actions to affect the employer first.
