Hello! As 2012 draws to a close, this will be my last post on the Union Library Workers blog. I am stepping down from the PLG Coordinating Committee and my duties thereon, which included this blog, and leave it to the most capable hands of Sarah. I have no doubt that Union Library Workers will continue to be a great source for news related to labour issues in the library and information world. I'd like to thank the PLG for the opportunity to administer this blog for the past year and most especially to Kathleen, the founder of the blog and its predecessor, The Union Librarian, for getting the whole ball rolling and keeping it going on her own for so long.
Anyway, best of luck to Sarah and any new blog contributors! I hope that 2013 is a year that will see some reversals of recent labour setbacks as we continue to struggle and move forward in solidarity.
