Update on Miami-Dade Public Libraries

Miami-Dade County will not be laying off any employees or reducing hours of operation at the Miami-Dade Public Libraries after the decision was made to use the libraries' $7.8 million reserve fund. This is not a long-term solution, however - next year the libraries will once again face a budget shortfall.
