Seattle Education Association Votes to Strike

The Seattle Education Association, the union representing teachers, librarians, and support staff in the Seattle School District, has unanimously voted to take strike action if a new collective agreement is not reached by next Wednesday, the start of the school year. The union has been negotiating with the school board since May.
