Strike Action in Quebec

Workers at the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec are among the 37,000 public sector workers who went on strike yesterday across the province of Quebec, closing schools, health care centers, and other provincial agencies. Additional strike action is planned in November and December unless contract negotiations are successful. The workers are members of Front Commun.
