New Collective Agreement for Ontario School Support Staff

Library and other educational support workers in elementary schools in Ontario have reached a deal with the provincial government on a new collective agreement, ending their work-to-rule campaign. The premier of Ontario had threatened to begin docking workers' pay if they continued to engage in this campaign. The support staff are members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.

Other school employees, including those represented by the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario and support staff represented by the Ontario Secondary School Teacher's Federation, still remain without a new collective agreement.
