Association of Teachers and Lecturers Calls for School Library Inspections
The Association of Teachers and Lecturers, the union representing education professionals in the United Kingdom, passed a motion calling for inspection of school libraries by the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills, citing reductions in library collections and decreasing library staff.
