Last week, the 1,300 member PSUO-SSUO, the University of Ottowa union representing support and adminstrative staff, went on strike after failing to come to agreement with the school on issues such as health benefits, retirement allowence, and parental leave top-ups, Fulcrum reports.
PSUO-SSUO represents employees such as lab coordinators, mental health counselors, financial officers, and academic advisors.
