Contract negotiations poised to begin after certification of Worthington Libraries union vote

Stephen Borgna, ThisWeek As of Nov. 18, the Worthington Libraries staff union is officially recognized as a bargaining unit by the State Employment Relations Board, according to a member of the organizing committee. That is the date the results of the Oct. 20 vote count were certified, said Old Worthington Library librarian Kristin McCormick. “We are really excited to start the next steps and to finally have that seat at the table where decisions are being made,” McCormick said.
