Fudning to Jacksonville Public Library to be evaluated
The funding of Jacksonville Public Library will be evaluated to determine the best course of action to meet popular demand for library services in the Florida city. The library, which has had one quarter of its staff cut in the past seven years, currently gets its funding from a large pot of city funds that is distributed on a priority basis. However, there is a clear voice for giving the library system dedicated funding as that might alleviate some of the system's woes.
