CityLab: "The Decline and Evolution of the School Librarian"

CityLab looks at the growing trend of school districts balancing budgets by cuts to library services, sometimes resulting in the elimination of the position of school librarian. Not only is this a blow to library workers, but it also represents a disservice being done to students across the country and the overworked and undertrained teachers and staff who are expected to do the work previously done by librarians.
